Evelyn's Wild Hair!

Evelyn had her hair in tiny braids for about two days and when we took them out her hair was wild! these pictures don't quite show the full effect because this was a couple of days after we took them out so it had settled down. Her hair is so fun to play with she calls it chocolate chip hair. She is also fun to photograph because of her facial expressions and poses. She is such a character, she turns four on Thurs I can't believe how fast time flies!!!

The Mohawk!

So Kaiden got his hair buzzed the other day and he wanted me to leave a Mohawk so we did for about a week! He loved it, he called it Dinosaur hair.

This is why we love him!

So Keith decided that he would make pancakes! He likes to mix things up and he is pretty good at it, I didn't even realize he was in the kitchen! I usually lose my cool and punish him and then clean the mess up but this time I decided to take pictures. Earlier this week Kevin had just gone grocery shopping and brought home two boxes of mac and cheese and a brownie mix and Keith thought those would go well together uncooked! He is a master of mischief and he is so cute you really can't stay mad!

We Had A Little Scare!

Julianna had to come home early from school today so I knew Kaiden would be getting off the bus on his own this is not a problem he usually does this twice a week when Julianna stays after for a tutoring program. Anyway today it was about 15 minutes past the normal time that he gets home and still no sign of him so I headed out to see if I met up with him on his way home. I got all the way to the bus stop and still no Kaiden. I went over to the neighbor's house (they also have kids who ride the bus) and she didn't know if the bus had come because it is her grandchildren and they are out of town with parents on a vacation. I then saw a little kid riding his bike he also rides Kaiden's bus, I asked him if he rode the bus today and he said he had so I asked if Kaiden had been on the bus and he said "ya he went up the alley" I am freaking out because I came down the alley when I was on my way to the bus! I ran all the way home and Kaiden was there! He had come into the back yard and spent about 20 minutes picking up rocks since it is such a beautiful day today! We had a little talk about coming straight home and then playing but I was soooo freaked out for about five minutes.

Snakes!

While in Kentucky staying with the Charles we were able to handle Thoney's snakes! The kids loved it and now they want a python for a pet! Keith liked Brendan's Milipede!Julianna and Evelyn are both holding a corn snake!Julianna and Kaiden are holding Ball Pythons!

Dora & Diego!

Evelyn's favorite show is Dora and or Diego and Keith loves to watch it with her. For those who have never seen this show you are very lucky it drives me nuts!!! However today it was very funny Keith has finally caught on to the fact that they want you to interact so when they ask "where is the rope?" he becomes very concerned that they would not find it and he excitedly says "here it is, here it is" and when they pick the right thing he jumps up and down pumping his fist in the air and says "YES!" it is pretty cute! Nothing holds Keith's attention long but he is glued to Diego its great I can actually get stuff done!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This year has been full of changes, but change is good! We are excited about the changes that may be coming in 2009 and we have learned so much from all that has happened in 2008. We are excited to be visiting all our good friends in Kentucky! And we are also excited about the newest addition to the family, my brother Mike (Ryan) and his wife Laura had their first child a baby boy! I do not know any other details, the communication in my family is not the greatest! So I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and we will be missing all of you who are not going to be with us this year hopefully we will catch you during our summer visit out west!
